AN OFFICER'S UNIFORM OF THE HONOR GUARD!!!

Dating: mid-19th Century

Provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies

Description: A officer’s uniform of the Honor Guard of Ferdinad II of the Two Sicilies. In green cloth, double-breasted and with a red bordering; complete with epaulettes numbered 8″, cords and tassels in silver tessel; white leather band and bandoleer with gilded-metal mounts; the belt’s buckle of rectangular shape with a crown shield and a lily surrounded by flags and weapons, one the bandoleer’s plates is shield-shaped and with a rayed lily, the other one is crown-shaped, they are linked with two chains; two rows of round buttons, all of which are marked with the number “8″.
